Distance Learning – reports connection problem. Emailed and called Rick Hanson at Seminole State College to request assistance. Also sent message to Peder Angvall to check the connection and switch port settings. Peder thought the problem was in the new managed router, so I called OneNet, had a conference call with their network and video techs while they directed me through the system settings on the Polycom device, but we never could get it to work. The network tech (Auturo) started telling me what we needed to change in our internal NAT, but I put him back to Peder so I could stay out of the middle and get back to class. Update: after school I contacted Peder who helped me put the config back properly. Now the managed router is set properly and the Polycom can connect. 

Don Gallagher – reported that his MacBook Pro will not boot. He restarted after some problem developed and then it would not boot. I tried to reset the parameter RAM, didn’t help. Ran disk repair in single user mode, then I could log in. I copied all his data to the server, created a local account and transferred the data into the new account.

Mary Johnson – reported a printing problem. Set her to the HP LJ600 in the HS office.

Jan Mullins – requested help with math instructional presentations, which I had already installed, pretty sure this is already installed and I just need to remind her of where to find them. Since the computer wasn’t available today I’ll have to try again Thursday (K20 conference in Norman tomorrow).

E-Rate – filled out a Service Certification for DNI and submitted to office for Mr. Gower’s signature.
